What are the 11 public works that the Nation would resume in Santa Fe?

Of the 169 works that were paralyzed, the Province negotiates that 11 be resumed with national funds. One is in Rosario.

The Minister of Public Works, Lisandro Enricohopes to be able to close an understanding with the national government next week so that a percentage of work that was started in a timely manner with national resources and that was completely paralyzed for the purposes of the management of Alberto Fernandez and beginnings of Javier Milei.

Among the works that the Nation would continue are the expansions of the water treatment plants of ASSA of Santa Fe and rosary beads; the laying of the aqueduct San Javier – Toasted; a water treatment plant in Rafaelathe stabilization of the Los Saladillos waterfall on the border between Rosario and Villa Gobernador Gálvez as well as the repair of some sections of national routes, including 11. The objective is that then the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Guillermo Francos, sign the respective agreement with the governor Maximiliano Pullaro.

“It is not the scenario that we would like, but unfortunately it is like that. The nation getting rid of all the works, except for some very specific ones, and proposing that the province continue the works that it can pay for,” said the minister.

Routes first
“There are a handful of works that the nation would continue: the Santa Fe water treatment plant, work with slow progress; San Javier – Tostado aqueduct: the protection of the Saladillo stream waterfall to prevent erosion from continuing and advancing on the bridge: plant Rosario water treatment plant; sewage treatment plant in Rafaela; the completion of the repair of the Flag Monument and the completion of the federal prison in Coronda, which is 96% complete. All of this as special works and the most important thing. We ask more of you as the government of Santa Fe, as Santa Fe residents, the most important thing is the routes,” added Enrico. “It is the priority that they go back to work on repairing routes. They told us yes but until we see the machines on the route we will not be satisfied,” he added.

The minister said he will have more details next week, admitting that the entire negotiation is slow. “We do not see that there are administrative advances leading to the works being resumed quickly, that worries us all. We are accustomed in Santa Fe to a much more agile and more concrete pace of work.”

The survey carried out by the provincial government determined that there are 189 works committed by the previous national administration and that with varying degrees of progress they were in execution as of last December. Nación is now adjusting the signing of the agreement with Santa Fe for some of them and the rest will depend on whether the province or the municipalities where the work was planned are in a position to move forward. Weeks ago, before a commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Enrico himself pointed out that some few works with advanced execution could be completed by the province, but in others there would be no possibility due to lack of financing.
