“The rules of co-participation for municipalities and communes have to be clear and fair,” argues in its recitals a project that aims to increase the percentage of co-participation for municipalities and communes of the taxes collected by the Santa Fe Executive.

The initiative is from provincial deputy Beatriz Brouwer (UNITE – Somos Vida). It promotes the increase to 20% of the percentages to be distributed by co-participation on the amounts collected by provincial taxes through the modification of provincial law 7098.

Currently, the distribution rate of provincial taxes is 13%, while in Córdoba it is 21% and in Entre Ríos, 18%.

“The co-participation of the municipalities and communes must also have a constitutional character, so as not to generate a game of political tension that ultimately goes against those who are administered,” states Deputy Brouwer, also advancing her position regarding the reformist initiatives that are being carried out. are in treatment.

Brouwer’s position also advances “the necessary autonomy of municipalities and the reform of the functioning of communal governments in relation to the extension of mandates and powers,” as expressed in the project in its foundations.
