A violent case of animal abuse was recorded inside the “Gerardo Muñoz Campos” Commercial High School in Antofagasta: a student threw a dog from the third floor, which resulted in various injuries.
The event generated great commotion in the high school community, as far as the independent animal activist Luz Echanezwho was in charge of transporting the dog to a veterinary clinic.
“They reported via WhatsApp that they had thrown a puppy from the third floor of the commercial high school. We went to look for it to bring it to the PET (of the Municipality) and that they gave him the corresponding tests“he reported.

The violent act was also condemned by the mayor of Antofagasta, Jonathan Velasquezwho in his capacity as president of the board of the Municipal Social Development Corporation, supporter of the commercial high school, said that will ensure that in this case there are sanctions.

The municipality facilitated the entry of the dog to the municipal PET to be treated, a facility where the dog arrived. deputy Sebastián Videlawho promised to support all legal instances.
