Within the framework of the Colombian Folklore Festival and Chicha Day, the Ministry of the Interior held an event focused on providing business and entrepreneurship opportunities to young people in the region.

Nancy García, regional director of the ICBF, highlighted the importance of supporting young talent and entrepreneurship during the festivities in Ibagué: “Today we are developing the ICBF entrepreneurship macro-zone, where there are exhibitors from six regions. We have Casanare, Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Risaralda, Huila, Quindío and Tolima; those who are exhibiting there are young people who are under the protection or support of the ICBF in different modalities, both for the restoration of rights and criminal responsibility..

This is the product of the work they have done over time related to the development and creation of items that are marketed today. Likewise, it means the knowledge and learning about what an undertaking is, from production, from marketing, the administrative part, the financial part, everything that involves strengthening working capital.”, stated the directive.
