Within the framework of the Colombian Folklore Festival and Chicha Day, the Ministry of the Interior held an event focused on providing business and entrepreneurship opportunities to young people in the region.
Nancy García, regional director of the ICBF, highlighted the importance of supporting young talent and entrepreneurship during the festivities in Ibagué: “Today we are developing the ICBF entrepreneurship macro-zone, where there are exhibitors from six regions. We have Casanare, Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Risaralda, Huila, Quindío and Tolima; those who are exhibiting there are young people who are under the protection or support of the ICBF in different modalities, both for the restoration of rights and criminal responsibility..
“This is the product of the work they have done over time related to the development and creation of items that are marketed today. Likewise, it means the knowledge and learning about what an undertaking is, from production, from marketing, the administrative part, the financial part, everything that involves strengthening working capital.”, stated the directive.

The Secretary of the Interior, Jesús Alberto Saavedra Barrios, highlighted the importance of this initiative for the protection and promotion of human rights, emphasizing the commitment of the departmental government under the administration of Governor Adriana Magali Matiz: «In the Government of Adriana Magali Matiz, we firmly believe in providing opportunities for all. This participation not only highlights the creativity and talent of our youth, but also reinforces our commitment to the protection of human rights and the comprehensive development of our youth. The invitation is open for everyone to visit Murillo Toro Park today, June 27 and 28, and discover the products and talents of young entrepreneurs who, with effort and dedication, have created unique and high-quality items.
