Until June 23, San Juan residents will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich Chinese culture through a unique exhibition of typical costumes of the various Chinese ethnicities. Organized by the FIPPE Foundation in collaboration with the Confucius Institute of the National University of Córdoba, this exhibition has the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports and the National University of San Juan (UNSJ).

Located in the foyer of the Juan Victoria Auditorium, the exhibition presents a collection of 22 suits donated by the embassy of the People’s Republic of China. In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy a photographic exhibition that documents the traditional clothing of the 60 Chinese ethnic groups, offering a complete vision of the ethnic diversity of the Asian country.

The main objective of this exhibition, which is presented for the first time in San Juan, is to explore and celebrate the multi-ethnic composition of China. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the diverse cultures that coexist in this vast country, better understanding the richness and complexity of its cultural heritage.

Prominent authorities were present at the launch of the exhibition, including: Huang Kangyi, First Secretary and Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China; Wang Jingren, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China; Mirian Carballo, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute (CI) of the National University of Córdoba (UNC); Chen Lin, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at Jinan University (China); Eduardo Varela, Secretary of Culture; Luciano Gutiérrez, Director of Cultural Action; Jorge Lorenzo, President of FIPPE and authorities of the Ministry of Culture and the UNSJ.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free, offering an unmissable opportunity for San Juan residents and visitors to enjoy this celebration. of Chinese culture.
