They offer a reward of up to $50 for those responsible for this attack against the Popayán Police Command.

The Mayor’s Office of Popayán and the Government of Cauca announced areward of up to $50 millionfor information that would lead to the capture of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack that affected the facilities of the Police Command and left three uniformed officers injured.

The announcement was made by the mayor in charge of Popayán, Edwin Muñoz,at the end of an extraordinary security councilthat was carried out due to these violent events.

“Next to the Government of Cauca sA reward of up to 50 million has been setof pesos for the people who can help us identify who were the ones who carried out these violent acts,” said Muñoz.

Likewise, the president expressed solidarity with the uniformed officers who were injured and maintained thatThis terrorist attack was not only against the Public Forcebut,of all citizensof the municipality of Popayán.

“We stand in solidarity with the injured uniformed officers, since this attack is not only against the Public Force, but against the entire community of Popayán,We reject these violent events in our city“he added.

“We reject these terrorist acts that put the lives of our civilian population at risk, (…)This fact was not forceful and put the civilian population at risk,We invite citizens to report these types of actions,violence is consuming our peace of mind,but there are more of us who want peace,” said the governor.
