The Government of Chubut headed by Governor Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, through the Ministry of Security and Justice, continues to intensify the actions of the Unified Security Command and in Trelew specifically, during the last controls, more than 300 people were identified in addition to hijacking vehicles. for various irregularities.
With the aim of guaranteeing the safety of all the residents of Trelew and surrounding areas, during the afternoon of this Friday, June 7, personnel from the Chubut Police, National Gendarmerie, Federal Police, Naval Prefecture, Airport Security Police, the Undersecretariat of Road Safety | APSV and the National Road Safety Agency deployed a preventive operation near the new high-complexity hospital.
The result of the actions of the forces showed that 305 vehicles were controlled, in addition to a total of 312 people being identified and 203 breathalyzer tests carried out. In turn, two vehicles were seized for presenting irregularities, while a drunk driver was registered and four minutes were filed for various infractions.
A utility truck that presented various irregularities was also seized. The Automotive Theft Division (DSA) / Verification Plant verified, through the corresponding systems, that the ownership of a vehicle (utility type) belonged to another truck that had registration in Esquel.
Also, irregularities were detected in the chassis, fenders and windows that made it possible to establish that it was an alleged ‘vehicular adulteration’. The procedure was reported to the prosecutor on duty who ordered the kidnapping to carry out specific investigations.
It should be noted that the purpose of the Unified Command is to prevent situations, act in flagrante delicto and multiply controls in key places in the city according to the crime map and other preventive schemes that are analyzed periodically.
In this way, and through deployments in different parts of Trelew, the aim is to guarantee the safety of the entire population of the Lower Valley of the Chubut River.
