After receiving an alert issued by INTERPOL and after an investigation by agents of the Argentine Federal Police, a force dependent on the Ministry of Security, they managed to rescue a minor victim of sexual exploitation and arrest two accused, in an operation carried out in Concepción of Uruguay, Entre Ríos.
According to reports, the investigation began in May, when INTERPOL’s Crimes Against Children Team issued an alert regarding the content of a series of images in the Child Sexual Exploitation Database (ICSE), which could refer to an alleged case of sexual abuse in Argentina.
Due to the seriousness of the incident, the Fiscal Instruction Unit No. 3 of Concepción del Uruguay, headed by Dr. Gabriela Seró, requested the prompt intervention of the personnel of the Cyber Crimes against Children and Adolescents Division, dependent on the Superintendence of Federal Investigations, with the objective of identifying the abused minor and arresting those responsible.
In this context, the analysts began a rigorous investigation to identify the sexual aggressor, an adult woman, who was observed in a series of photographs and videos with the girl.
Having learned of all the evidentiary material, the intervening Magistrate in the case ordered a search of a home located in the city of Concepción del Uruguay.

Arrest and hijacking of devices
During the operation in front of the farm, they saw the accused who, in the presence of the police and the arrival of the cell phones, tried to flee, but thanks to the quick action of the officers, her arrest was achieved at the scene.
Likewise, when inspecting the home, they found the detainee’s children, ages 12 and 8, who received psychological support from specialized personnel who were part of the procedure.
On the other hand, they seized a large number of high-end electronic devices, children’s games with sexual connotations, annotations with names of profiles and pages of child sexual abuse, drawings with sexual content, computer elements and storage devices. Along with the evidentiary elements, the agents found more than a kilo of fractionated marijuana, Cannabis Sativa seeds and ten grams of cocaine hydrochloride in addition to elements used for its fractionation.
Finally, the rescued minors were transferred along with the Department’s psychologist and staff from the Children’s and Family Commission to the Judicial Headquarters to continue with their medical assistance.
Child sex trafficking arrested in Concepción del Uruguay
At the same time, they arrested a man, of legal age, a partner of the accused, who was affected in summary proceedings for “Infringement of Law 23,737”, with the intervention of the Narcotics Thematic Prosecutor’s Unit on duty in the City of Concepción del Uruguay.
As for the woman, all procedural measures were taken and she was lodged in the Cybercrime Directorate of the Entre Ríos Police, for issues of jurisdiction and competence. The seized items were made available to the Intervening Magistrate in the case being investigated for the crimes of “Corruption of Minors and Sexual Exploitation on the Internet.”
