According to the mayor This technical review will be carried out with the support of experts and representatives of the academy, in addition to various sectors of society. This is a measure intended to guarantee an optimal decision on the future of the work.
Regarding the resources allocated to the project, Aranda explained that a part is in a trust, while the rest is in municipal accounts.. Specifically, $2.95 billion was delivered to the contractor for the works in the Floresta sector and the Multicentro area.
The decision to carry out this technical review was made after a process of consultation and dialogue with different sectors involved in the issue of the 60 bridge. “With this measure, the fine imposed on the contractor, equivalent to 10% of the initial value of the contract, the resources initially invested will be recovered“Aranda pointed out.
