The SEREMI Health of Tarapacá signed a joint agreement with the Arturo Prat University, where they will seek to work together on issues related to public health. This alliance will allow for professional internships, research work, training, workshops and talks focused on the work carried out by the Tarapacá Health SEREMIA.

This agreement was signed by the Minister of Health of Tarapacá, David Valle, and by the rector of the Arturo Prat University, Alberto Martínez, at the university establishment. The duration of this agreement will be two years, counting from the date of its signing, automatically and successively extendable for equal periods, unless one of the parties expresses to the other its intention to include modifications or not to persevere in it.

“This favors health policies, public policies and we believe that it is an important basis to promote and increase quality health in our region, which would imply an increase in people’s quality of life, so I am very happy” Seremi David Valle commented.

For his part, the rector of the Arturo Prat University, Alberto Martínez, highlighted this agreement as “a reason for great joy and also a commitment, a commitment from the Faculty of Health that is dreaming and thinking about new offers, new spaces, new collaborations.” , in new contributions that can be developed to what the territory needs.”

While the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Arturo Prat University, Ximena Ibarra, mentioned that “It is imperative that we work together taking advantage of the resources and knowledge of both institutions to develop innovative and effective strategies that improve the quality of life of our community.”
