The Deliberative Council of Puerto Madryn recently approved Ordinance No. 13,721, which establishes the creation of the Municipal Comprehensive Center, a space intended to promote integration and community participation in the city. This project arises in response to the need to have a place that brings state services closer to citizens, especially those in vulnerable neighborhoods, thus facilitating the completion of procedures and access to various activities.
The new Municipal Comprehensive Center will be located at the intersection of Perú and Valle de los Mártires streets, under the supervision of the Municipal Government Secretariat. Its main objective is to promote citizen participation and the carrying out of recreational, sports, educational and cultural activities. In addition, the center will house the headquarters of the Barrio Nueva Chubut Neighborhood Association.
The initiative seeks not only to provide a space for carrying out various activities, but also to ensure that citizens have equitable access to the services and opportunities offered by the State.
The Municipal Executive Department has a period of 60 days to regulate the ordinance and organize the operation of the center, which will include training, cultural and educational workshops, community cooking days, support classes and attention to the public by different municipal areas.
