There will be a talk and an exhibition open to the community about Entre Ríos silversmithing. This is the third stage of the Experimental Silversmithing Project, led by Master Silversmith Martín Kornicki and Professor, researcher and Silversmith, Griselda De Paoli. The activities will be at the Martiniano Leguizamón Historical Museum, this Friday, June 14, starting at 6:30 p.m. Entrance is free and open.

The museum, together with the Entre Ríos Civil Association of Silversmiths and Silversmiths and the Lágrima de Luna Workshop, organizes the meeting called Silversmithing: a trade with history and a legacy that enriches us. The activity takes place within the framework of the Argentum Cycle, at the headquarters of the Provincial Historical Museum, which depends on the Secretariat of Culture of Entre Ríos and is located at Buenos Aires 286 in Paraná.

After two meetings, this Friday the initiative will close with a workshop open to the community. Silversmithing: a trade with history and a legacy that enriches us is the title of the proposal that began in May and was developed in stages.

Thus, a talk will be held, open to the public and to the silversmiths in particular, about the historical framework, the profile of the Historical Museum collection, consideration of the style and character of the social representation of the pieces.

At the same time, an exhibition will be held consisting of the preselected pieces and the representations made experimentally, as well as the tools used. The possibility of speaking with the makers will also be offered.

The proposal will be accompanied by images of the task carried out in the construction of the pieces and a video made by the Audiovisual Institute of Entre Ríos (IAER), a record of the first two stages. A sales stand will offer the public pieces produced by Entre Ríos silversmiths.

The activity will be replicated by the Conrado Hasenauer Regional Museum of Oro Verde, an institution that accompanies and articulates with the proposals of Martiniano Leguizamón.

The Argentum Cycle aims to revalue, preserve the craft, protect artisanal production and make historical heritage visible. The initiative, which has the support of the Ministry of Culture of the province, is organized by the Entre Ríos Civil Association of Silversmiths and Silversmiths, the Martiniano Leguizamón Historical Museum of Entre Ríos and the Lágrima de Luna Workshop (Oro Verde).
