A City Police officer attacked shot his ex-partner and then committed suicide after having a strong discussion in the street in the Buenos Aires party of Dark. Both had ended the relationship a few months ago and were colleagues at Neighborhood Police Station 13 in Belgrano.
The event took place this weekend at the intersection of Manuel Maza and Albatros streets, a few meters from Route 23, in Moreno, when they were alerted about a policewoman who took her own life after shooting her ex-partner three times and fellow member of the City’s security force. One of the versions indicates that there was a strong argument in which she asked him to resume the relationship and he refused.
It all started at the door of a 5-a-side soccer field, where Abigail Milena Ramirez approached Gabriel Sánchez and asked him to speak. When they went out onto the street, a fight began that escalated into violence when she pulled out her service weapon and threatened him.
It all ended minutes later, when the officer shot her ex-partner three times and then left. committed suicide. Although the officer was very badly injured, he was taken to the hospital. Dark, where they confirmed that he had gunshot wounds to the groin, abdomen and thorax. After being stabilized, he was transferred to the Italian Hospital where he is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.
Although everything is in the investigation stage, the authorities believe that Ramírez was willing to commit suicide after attacking Sánchez.
The case was left in the hands of UFI No. 8 of Moreno, led by Prosecutor Gabriel López and Matías Rumi. It was classified as “Attempted homicide followed by suicide.”
