“The modification of the academic calendar is a system decision. We will evaluate strategies and consult with the supervisory and management teams. “We are going to work within the system,” indicated the provincial official after the presentation of the Santa Fe Literacy Plan “Raíz”.

And he added: “We know that we are going to have difficulty achieving them. We are going to generate strategies to arrive with as many days as possible. We are going to get very close to the goal; I think we can achieve it in the conditions we are in. We put the focus on learning.”

In this framework, the Minister of Education indicated that work will be done on two strong strategies to recover the 13 days of strike promoted by the teaching unions in Santa Fe.

“We are going to recover school days. We are thinking about devices, but at the same time we are working on how we enhance learning, so that each day of classes is unique and leaves something behind. If we achieve that, not only are we going to have better results, but we are not going to argue as much,” he explained.

“I hope that we are not discussing how many days of classes we give, but rather what the learning indicators and evaluations are like; How do we improve it, and even better, that we can show everything we improved. That has to be the central debate in education,” she concluded.
