(ADN).- “It is not good for the Government to arrive at a joint meeting without an offer because it delays time.” This is how Rodrigo Vicente, general secretary of ATE, reacted after the failed meeting of the Public Service and the move to the intermission room until Wednesday. As a result, the union declared itself free of action to define forceful measures.
Vicente announced: “we demand a bimonthly salary offer with increases in June and July, which exceed the poverty line and allow us to avoid the deterioration of all salaries in the public sector.”
The last joint agreement established sums of $150,000, $180,000 and $210,000 according to category and grouping for April and May, consolidating an initial income of $650,000, which for hospital workers exceeded $730,000.
“We declare ourselves free to act to define the measures that are necessary in order to reject an adjustment to state income,” added Vicente.
In addition, the union demanded an increase in all additional and extra hours of school janitors, the transfer to contract of workers who have Chair Hours, an increase in Guard and the SeNAF Operator and Human Development bonus.
