Carlos Fernando Galán, Mayor of Bogotaassured, through a video published on his Twitter account, that this Tuesday, in the Football Commission, The city will ask that the Bucaramanga fans be allowed to enter the Nemesio Camacho El Campín stadium for next Saturdayin the second leg of the final of the Colombian League in view of Independent Santa Fe.

“We are going to honor what was agreed. Tomorrow, at the Football Commission, Bogotá will ask that the Bucaramanga fans be able to be in El Campín on Saturday”Galán assured on his social network, accompanied by his video intervention.

Additionally, the Mayor anticipated that there will be giant screens in Simón Bolívar Park so that fans without tickets to the stadium can go there to enjoy the League final and the match between Colombia and Bolivia, which will start a few hours before.

Although the presence of visiting fans had been agreed for the two games of the final, Eduardo Méndez, president of Santa Fe, left the attendance of visiting fans in suspense this Saturday in Bogotá. Méndez denounced attacks on the logistics of the stadium in the first leg of the final in Bucaramanga and, in addition, after the invasion of the fans, he assured that he would not allow their entry for the second leg final.

In dialogue with La W Radio this Monday, Méndez maintained his position, although he left open the possibility that the entry of visiting fans will be determined by the Districtafter the Football Commission that will be held this Tuesday.

“I have been a man who honors the word the most, But events happen and one makes decisions. We hope that Dimayor will make a statement in its disciplinary commission and if not, we will have to talk to the local authorities to see what they say. However, the first thing we said is we have to suspend because I am not going to want 1,000 people to overwhelm the logistics, enter the field and a game had to be suspended for that,” he said.
