In general, but more so in times of crisis, higher education seeks to get closer to society in outreach tasks and, at the same time, through the professional insertion of its students and graduates, in community activities.

Health Services at UNC
At the School of Speech Therapy (FCM), of the National University of Córdoba (UNC), from Monday to Friday, the Raquel Maurette Department offers care to the community for a minimum fee of four thousand pesos per consultation.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., eleven health professionals serve the public with medical requests or teacher referrals for speech therapy treatments and studies. Some of the activities carried out in the office are: rehabilitation in children with cochlear implants, neurolinguistic evaluations in adults and support in the area of communication, modulation and language.
The School of Kinesiology and Physiotherapy has a Practice Center where students about to graduate provide therapeutic treatments in neuro rehabilitation, physiotherapy, kinesiology and dermatology for the base price of three thousand pesos per session. The Faculty of Medical Sciences also directs the UNC Vaccination Center, where from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the general public is served to complete the missing doses on the vaccination card free of charge. It is necessary that those who want to access this service make an appointment in advance through the form on the faculty’s website or through telephone contact 3543–698890. It is also required to bring your DNI and vaccination card to the shift, although the lack of these documents does not prevent the service.
For its part, the UNC School of Dentistry provides free care to the public through the Professional Practice subject. It is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, when students attend to patients for tooth and molar extractions, dental cleanings, fixing cavities and oral lesions with the supervision of teachers. Those interested must go to the Admission, Diagnosis and Patient Referral Area in classroom I from Monday to Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. They must present ID and CUIL number.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Psychology offers psychological care of 16 psychotherapy sessions for a minimum cost of 3,700 pesos per session. This space is made up of more than 28 providers who vary between teachers from the same faculty and received students seeking to enter the workforce. Regarding extension activities, the Faculty of Medical Sciences organizes the University Program for Older Adults and offers in this way more than 40 courses in art, health, computer science and languages for people over 50 years of age. Veterinary, legal and chemical care at the UCC
At the Catholic University of Córdoba (UCC), the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences opens the doors of its Veterinary Hospital through the University Social Responsibility Commitment, through which it provides services at low costs. The UCC Faculty of Health Sciences, meanwhile, is equipped with the Central Laboratory in which the students of the program fulfill their mandatory professional practices by providing physical-chemical and microbiological analysis services to the community.
In addition, different types of samples are studied such as water, food, effluents, environments and chemicals. They also carry out different activities such as identification of critical control points in the food industry and interpretation and selection of tests according to the needs of clients.
