Free classes open to the dance community and the Contemporary Ballet of the Province.

The outstanding choreographer and dancer with a renowned career, Sandra Rearteswill offer this week at the Juan B. Terán Cultural Center (Marco Avellaneda y San Juan) free classes open to the dance community and the Contemporary Ballet of the Province that he directs. Patricia Sabbag. On Thursday the 13th, Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th, from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., Reartes will offer training to the Contemporary Ballet for the revival of the work “Opera Prima”, which will soon premiere in Rosario de la Frontera (Salta).

On the other hand, on Friday the 14th, from 3 to 5 p.m., the teacher will provide the free training “Contemporary Language Laban Method”, open to the dance community. Previous registration is not needed.

About Sandra Reartes

Dancer of the Stable Ballet of the Province of Salta through a competitive position with an exceptional contract at the age of 17 (1990 until its dissolution). She formed the Contemporary Ballet of Salta for 20 years as First Dancer and Assistant Director. She is the creator, founder and director of the Grupo DC Contemporary Dance Company from 2011 to the present.

She was selected by the Institute of Music and Dance, a Cultural organization, for the position of Contemporary Dance Teacher and Choreographer of the Folkloric Ballet of the Province of Salta (2014 to 2015). Called to be Curriculum specialist in Dance of the Ministry of Education of the Nation for the preparation and design of the career of Professor with orientation in Contemporary Dance of the Instituto Superior Professorado de Artes No. 6004. Trainer and International Jury at the International Danza Cruz Festival, Santa Cruz de la Sierra – Bolivia (years 2015-2016-2018). She is a manager, promoter of Contemporary Dance Festivals and training with recognized teachers and artists of national and international stature in the NOA Region.

Scholarship as Director and Choreographer of the DC Group to attend the Barcelona International Dance Exchange BIDE, Barcelona-Spain (2019). She is the manager of Scholarships for improvement cycles for dancers at the Julio Bocca Foundation, Galpón Face (Bs.As) and at Crea Dance Company, a company directed by the great Choreographer María Rovira, Barcelona-Spain. She is a trainer for a cycle of staging and dance that was taught at the National level, convened by the Secretariat of Culture of the Province of Jujuy. Recently hired as Choreographer for the staging of the work: “Opera Prima” and Trainer for the Contemporary Ballet of Tucumán.

Currently Teacher in charge of the curricular areas of the subjects and workshops: Contemporary Dance II and Special Didactics of Contemporary Dance, initial level and Primary Education of the second year and Contemporary Dance III of the third year. Special teacher of Art Education at Initial and Primary Level.

Academic Training and Titles obtained: National Elementary Teacher in Classical Dance (Silver Medal for Best Average); Higher National Professor in Classical Dance and Contemporary Dance; Bachelor of Art, courses approved and completed National University of Salta.
