The “Simón Bolívar” Training Ship will arrive in Santiago de Cuba

The AB Training Ship “Simón Bolívar”“, from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, will visit Santiago de Cuba between June 15 and 19 of this year. The visit occurs as part of the XXXIV Foreign Instruction Cruise in 2024.

According to the Ministry of Popular Power for the Defense of Venezuela, the XXXIV Training Cruise Abroad will last approximately three months. Also called “The Ambassador without Borders” will sail some 4,500 nautical miles and visit several Caribbean and Latin American ports. As part of this training cruise, before the next arrival in Santiago de Cuba, the ship visited Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico.

The Training Ship will continue its journey to Santa Marta (Colombia) and Willemstad (Curaçao), and will end the journey in the Venezuelan port of La Guaira on July 13.

The population will be able to visit the “Simón Bolívar” Training Ship on June 16, 17 and 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
