Third Environmental Awareness Day held
The Municipality of Chamical, through the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development, carried out the Environmental Awareness Day for the third consecutive year, within the framework of World Environment Day, with the aim of creating awareness and reflection in the community, especially in children and young people.
The event took place at the Chamical Jrs Club, an opportunity where most of the educational institutions of the Department were present at their different levels, both initial, primary, secondary and higher, enriching the day with their informative and thematic stands.
The EcoFeria was held, with the participation of local entrepreneurs who offer organic and sustainable products and crafts.
The INTA organized an open radio while the Environment Area, hosts of the event, had the Eco Exchange and Disburse, as well as children’s games. They also accompanied Municipal Areas such as Production, Disability, Social Development, Older Adults, Children, Adolescents and Family, Tourism, joining with proposals related to date.
The Secretary of the Environment, Johana Zárate, thanked all the institutions that were part of the third edition of this day, seeking to strengthen the path of awareness in the Chamicalense community about the care of our common home.
The engineer thanked Mayor Dorita Rodriguez for her permanent support and also extended it to Representative Luis Chumbita and Vice Mayor Martín Godoy, who were present at the event along with other Municipal officials.
