This Tuesday, the superintendent of General Irrigation DepartmentSergio Marinelli, and the advisor of the Atuel River, Gustavo Villegas, will hold a press conference to inform about the complaint they will make against the province of La Pampa.
The accusation comes after the three mayors of southern Mendoza (Omar Félix, Celso Jaque and Alejandro Molero) met to analyze the claim that the neighboring province made for the water of the Atuel River.

Days ago, the governor of Pampa Sergio Ziliotto He denounced that Mendoza is failing to comply with the ruling that forces it to release 3.2 cubic meters per second of water from the Atuel River and assures that there is a waste of irrigation water in unproductive fields in Mendoza and the creation of 100 reservoirs in the South.
From Mendoza they deny it and assure that the discussion about the Atuel water was already settled between the provinces. Likewise, they stated that the Nation and the complaining jurisdiction did not carry out the required works.
Now, from Irrigation they will counterattack and inform about a lawsuit against La Pampa.
