Over the weekend, Senator Óscar Barreto Quiroga led a massive rally in the Ocho commune of Ibagué, where he was surrounded by the leadership of his political organization, drawing attention to the absence of former governor Ricardo Orozco Valero.

Precisely, in the most populated commune of Ibagué, Barreto Quiroga was seen with the deputy Giovanny Molina, who aspires to be the next governor of Tolima, as well as his nephew Santiago Barreto Triana, to whom he would give the flags to be a candidate to the Senate, also from representative Gerardo Yepes Caro, deputies Brayam Escandón, Esteban Duarte and Carolina Mora. the same as Councilor Sandra Varón and other local leaders.

Likewise, the conservative leader went to Lérida, where he met with former mayor Marco Antonio Ospina and members of his team. In this municipality, the barretismo candidate for Mayor, María Elena Nieto, was widely defeated by Luis Carlos Amézquita, who achieved the support of several political forces.

“We strengthen our team with the support of the great leader Marco Antonio Ospina and his friends, who carry out very important work in various sectors of the municipality, all within the framework of development and the search for opportunities for present and future generations. “We are committed to these leaders, many of whom today join our work for Tolima,” he commented.
