The first School for Rural Women began to operate in Córdoba

In June, the first Rural Women’s School began operating, dependent on the Rural Society of Córdoba.

The network of rural women of Latin America and the Caribbean and the network of women for Equal Rights also participate.

The teaching of classes began on June 1 and will continue until November 16, in mixed mode (in-person and virtual) with the aim of reaching all women in different parts of the province.

The objectives revolve around the creation of new organizational processes, strengthening the existing ones of rural women, with the purpose of strengthening their economic, political and social autonomy. Make visible the proposals, demands and roles of rural women, to ensure that sustainable development is coherent with the reality of rural areas and the living situation of small rural producers. Generate spaces for dialogue and training that contribute to the assessment and urban-rural reciprocity to safeguard the environment, as rural women are guardians of natural resources and healthy agricultural production.
