Two members of the Comunes party who had belonged to the extinct FARC guerrilla were murdered in Valle del Cauca.
One of the victims was identified as Luis Fernando Rivera Noscué, who was a signatory of the Peace agreement between the FARC and the National Government, in 2016.
The crime occurred when Rivera was near the main park of the municipality of Florida. Armed men shot him. Although he was taken to a hospital, due to the severity of his injuries he died.
He was murdered in the area of the Naranjal-Tibolí road, in the rural area of Tuluá, a municipality located in the center of Valle del Cauca.
The Secretary of Security of Tuluá, Martín Hincapié, said: “At this time the necessary investigations are being carried out. “It is known that he is a person from the area, who had been carrying out important activities in this area.”
