Carlos Castro also promotes llanero folklore in the children of commune 3 to keep them away from social phenomena such as drugs and crime.
As a helping hand, Carlos also seeks through talks to help people who are mired in addiction to abandon drug use to resocialize.
“There is no purer blessing than that of a father or a mother and that of a homeless person.. We have been doing social work here in the commune 3 sector for more than 30 years,” says Carlos.
He says that his mission “is to work for the reconstruction of the social fabric of children and street residents in the most vulnerable sectors of the city of Villavicencio.”
