Of the 287 businessmen who participated in the survey, 241 stated that double and even triple taxation, added to the lack of return of credit balances, results in higher costs for missionary consumers.

The study, carried out by the CEM Trade and Services Commission, also revealed that more than 64% of those surveyed have lost at least one supplier in the last year. This loss is attributed to the decision of some suppliers to stop selling in the Misiones jurisdiction due to tax complications.

The businessmen detailed that this situation not only makes products more expensive, but also negatively affects their operations. The loss of commercial and logistical relationships, many of them maintained for years, impacts crucial aspects such as product quality, payment conditions and the dispatch of merchandise. In addition, finding new suppliers and establishing business relationships is difficult, since most new suppliers require that goods be sent to addresses outside of Misiones.

This situation reflects the daily challenge faced by entrepreneurs in Misiones, who must overcome a series of fiscal and logistical obstacles to keep their businesses operational.
