The mountain region of northern Patagonia, including sectors of Río Negro and Neuquén, is preparing for face a new frontal system that will bring rain, snowfall and strong winds from this Tuesday to Thursday. The affected areas and specific schedules are detailed below according to the information provided by the Interjurisdictional Basin Authority (AIC) and the National Meteorological Service (SMN).

Neuquen:
• Cordilleran Zone of Aluminé, Chos Malal, Loncopué, Ñorquín, Minas and Picunches:
• Snowfall: They will begin this Tuesday and will extend until Thursday, with intensification expected for Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, reaching orange alert.
• Snow accumulation: Between 30 and 50 cm are expected, with possible occasional exceedances. In lower areas, precipitation could be in the form of rain or sleet.
