The official Government account shared this Tuesday night on social networks a video with a balance of the first six months management of Javier Milei. She did it hours before the treatment of the Bases Law in the Senate.
There you see images of the president since he took office as Head of Statewhile in the background the President’s voice recreates part of the speeches he gave during this half-year in office.
“6 months of President Javier Milei’s government,” is read during the presentation of the short, which has a duration of 3 minutes and 6 seconds. He proposes that axis while showing Milei leaving Congress the day he took power, to speak to the people from the steps.
“Argentines have forcefully expressed a will for change that has no return,” the president is heard saying. “We decided as a people to embrace the ideas of freedom,” he adds.
Later, after an image that flies over the front of Parliament, where his followers can be seen, another legend appears. “The fiscal deficit was eliminated,” the video highlights.
While, Milei appears in the foreground, already on the lectern, with the presidential sash crossing his chest: “We are going to make all the necessary decisions to fix the problem caused by 100 years of waste by the political class.”
In the middle of those words, another Government achievement slowly appears on the screen: “Quarterly fiscal surplus for the first time in 15 years” and “reduced from 22 to 7 ministries.”
Other achievements that the Office of the President boasted about in the video were that “the exchange market was stabilized, the BCRA increased reserves to USD 29.3 billion, the exchange gap was reduced from 150% to 15%, the interest rate from 111% to 40%, the hyperinflationary bomb of the Leliqs was eliminated, the monetary issue to finance the Treasury was eliminated, and the Country Risk dropped by 1,000 points.”
In addition, it was highlighted that “the trust funds, million-dollar black boxes used by politics, were closed; the entire national public sector is being audited; and the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversities was closed.” All while Milei’s speech was heard in the background.
