Academics from the Faculty of Engineering visited Parqtec 21 facilities again

A team made up of professionals from the PUCV Faculty of Engineering visited the new Parqtec21. In the instance, District V21 invited the Faculty and other educational entities that carry out initiatives within the framework of the Engineering 2030 Program promoted by ANID, to see the new facilities on campus.

“The visit took place in the context of the link with the industry that we work from the Faculty of Engineering, both through its Directorate of Innovation and Link with Industry, and through the Interdisciplinary Engineering Center, which has the mission of connect with the requirements of industry and society and project the University as a relevant actor in solving existing problems,” explains René Villegas, director of the Innovation and Linkage with Industry Area of ​​the PUCV Faculty of Engineering.

The day allowed professionals to imagine collaborative spaces with close links between research, technological development and industry, directly.

“For the Faculty of Engineering it is important to have the possibility of knowing firsthand the requirements, projections and perspectives of the companies and professionals that participate in V21. This closeness can translate into the drive to develop innovative projects that generate new opportunities for students, academics and professionals; at the same time as contributing to economic growth and technological development from the Valparaíso Region,” said Villegas.

The day also highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between educational entities of the Region and District V21 with the development of agreements and strategic alliances that would allow the generation of new projects in areas such as engineering, business and entrepreneurship.
