Dedicated this year to Physical Theater and the work of the Polish master Henryk Tomaszewski, the contest will host in the Tito Junco room of the Bertolt Brecht Cultural Center representatives of that expression in Cuba and others from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Italy, Switzerland , Puerto Rico, Spain and Poland.

In an appointment with the press at the Paseo Habana Hotel, teacher Maritza Acosta, artistic and general director of the event, highlighted the participation of young graduates of the Teaching Unit of the Teatro del Cuerpo Fusión Company, led by her, and the group Mimo Clan, under the guidance of Omar Amador.

Summoned by this authentic manifestation, the creators will merge mastery in each staging and exchange knowledge about that common universe.

In addition to the traditional parade through several avenues of this capital, there will be a presentation of books, vernacular prints, a tasting of dishes with themes associated with the meeting and a performance by the Cuban plastic artist Alexis Gutiérrez.

The event, organized by the Teatro del Cuerpo Fusión Company, seeks to create a positive impact on society from an expression that overflows with art, emotion and gestures.
