The Mayor’s Office accompanied the presentation of the ruling of the Administrative Court of Nariño that orders the municipality to include 20 housing associations in the Territorial Planning Plan

At the facilities of the Pasto Chamber of Commerce, the ruling of the Administrative Court of Nariño was presented that orders the Mayor’s Office of Pasto to include more than 20 housing associations within the Territorial Planning Plan, POT. The above is given in order to enable different lots for construction within the capital of Nariño.

The mayor of Pasto, Nicolás Toro Muñoz, indicated that the municipality fully accepted said ruling and hopes that, before the end of this year, the draft of the POT will be available where the document of the ruling issued by the Administrative Court of Nariño will be.

“The Administrative Court of Nariño socialized the ruling that ordered scientific studies to be carried out in the Villa Lucía sector that serve to advance the adjustment of the POT. There is a detailed schedule that will be monitored until its approval by the Pasto Council “We spoke with the mayor so that the housing associations enter the POT and fulfill their dream of building on several lots,” said Judge Álvaro Montenegro.

For her part, the beneficiary of this process, Lidia Benavides, thanked the support and work of more than 2,200 families who will now be able to benefit from this process that will allow them to have decent housing after their associations were included in the POT adjustment. .

“This is great news for Pasto and we will have the tools to adjust the POT. In December we would finish this study and today we give good news to the housing associations who will be able to have their home,” concluded councilor Franky Eraso.
