Through the Undersecretary of Knowledge Economy of the Ministry of Economy and Public Services; the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology and the Compromiso foundation, 600 Salteños are already training in digital jobs.
With the “I grew up with Google” scholarships, people are training for free and online, and will obtain high-demand professional skills. The programs are developed asynchronously and are presented by Google experts.
On this occasion, the scholarships are for higher level students, teachers and people from throughout the jurisdiction; with initiatives to venture into a digital profession such as cybersecurity, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, ICT Support, Data Analysis among others.
The students are from all over the province, from Iruya to San Antonio de los Cobres.
All courses are 100% virtual and are taken on the Coursera Platform. Upon completion, participants will receive a Professional Certificate awarded by Google.
The “I grew up with Google” scholarships are an example of the Government’s commitment to the education and development of the people of Salta. Through these types of initiatives, a world of possibilities is opening up for new generations, allowing them to reach their maximum potential and contribute to the progress of the province in the digital age.
