The new children’s games that the Calahorra City Council is placing in the Monasterio de Yuso square are surprising young and old alike. It is no wonder that a giant multi-game tower will arrive in this space, inspired by the Yeti, the abominable man. of the snow, and which has slides, a climbing wall and early stimulation games. In addition to this structure, the park will have a mixed swing, another nest, an integration dock adapted for children with reduced mobility, a carousel, a slide and a balance system.

The Calahorra City Council is going to invest 74,890 euros in renovating the floor and games in this square and in providing more modules for children from 1 to 14 years old. The company Agapito Urban Industries SL is the winner of the renovation works for the games, which also include the placement of a new safety pavement on an approximate surface of 260 meters to protect users against possible falls. “We want to renew the games in the existing parks, as well as provide the city with more playgrounds so that children can play outdoors in a safe space and develop their motor and social skills,” highlights the mayor of Calahorra, Mónica Arceiz. , which states that the next performance will be in the park of Plaza Diego Camporredondo.

On the other hand, the workers from the Municipal Works and Services Park are going to paint the floor of the Monasterio de Yuso square and the flower beds that surround it to improve the image of this area of the city.
