On the night before the 462nd anniversary of the province of San Juan, fans of Atlético Unión de Villa Krause made a notable gesture of solidarity. This is “La Famosa Banda”, a group of fans who decided to cook and prepare about 80 meals of locro, bread and fruit, to distribute to those who need it most.
According to what they commented, the initiative arose during the day on Wednesday: “It arose without previously planning it, we had the idea of making a locro to donate to people who are homeless. “We all contributed a little bit each one,” they expressed. Once they had made the locro, they distributed it on disposable trays and accompanied it with bread and fruit.
“At night we went out to walk the streets delivering to the people we saw rummaging through the trash and we ended up at the Terminal. It is incredible the amount of needs that there are on the street, we saw people sleeping outdoors. Thank God we were able to provide him with a plate of hot food,” commented the fans. In times where violence stains football, the enormous gesture made by Azul fans is worth highlighting.
