Chery Argentina announced a recall for the Tiggo 4 and Tiggo 4 Pro

MThrough a press release, Chery Socma Argentina announced that it will call a review call for owners and users of the Tiggo 4 FL and Tiggo 4 Pro marketed between 2022 and 2024 to carry out a technical verification and corrective task if necessary, in official dealers of the brand and free of charge.

According to the company, the recall is to control the rear axle: cases have been detected where the connection between the rear axle and the floor of the vehicle is not correct. There is an identified batch of rear axles where there may be a welding imperfection between the axle and the knuckle that links to the frame. Although no cases have been recorded at the moment, this defect could cause it to detach if not attended to, causing road accidents with the risk of material and/or physical damage.

As part of its commitment to safety, Chery Socma Argentina will carry out the corrective task preventively and free of charge through its network of official dealers, which consists of verifying the correct welding and fixing of the rear axle to the vehicle frame and, in If necessary, replace and install a new one. For this, owners and users must coordinate an appointment through the Chery dealer of their choice as soon as possible.

To check if the vehicle is affected, or is included in the campaign, you can access it through the official website: https://www.cheryargentina.com.ar/recall, entering its chassis number or, through the dealers and official workshops.
