Three days after being reported missing Daniela Perea, 16-year-old trans adolescent, She was found dead by the community of the San Pedro neighborhood, in Tadó, Chocó.
The discovery occurred on the morning of holiday Monday, June 10, when the body was seen under a house in the sector and near a ravine. It presented apparent signs of sexual abuse and injuries caused by blunt objects.
“She disappeared in the municipality of Tadó and was found under a house with signs of rape. “She was murdered with a stone and a stick, because she had a club on her neck and they left her there.”said a member of the Itsmina Diversa organization.
According to information provided by the authorities, the victim was identified as Yasser Daniel Mosquera Perea and He suffered a blow to the head with a blunt object.
From the NGO Caribe Afirmativo, an entity that works for the recognition of the Rights of Sexual Diversity and Gender Identities in the country, who made public what happened, They demanded that the Prosecutor’s Office carry out an exhaustive investigation to locate those responsible.
“Caribe Afirmativo calls for an alliance between the Government of Chocó and the municipal mayors to promote the adoption of protection and self-protection measures during these dates, and combat the re-victimization and criminalization of the enjoyment of sexuality,” says the NGO.
