Governor Martín Llaryora together with Mayor Daniel Passerini formally opened the IV World Circular Economy Summit organized by the Municipality of Córdoba.

Since 2021, during Llaryora’s management in front of the 6 de Julio Palace, the capital municipality has carried out this event that already occupies a prominent place in the annual schedule of activities for the environment.

Until Saturday, and at the Córdoba Fair Complex, all relevant actors in this new productive and sustainable model will share innovative ideas and experiences in order to inspire new business models that favor sustainable development, increasing competitiveness and improving the quality of life of all citizens.

“The Córdoba Summit is an open Wikipedia of the circular economy. It is impossible to find so much information, so much generosity and solidarity anywhere else. That is why it has become a reference and a place of union. Many projects have come from here, the result of cooperative work. “This summit has to be a demonstration of solidarity and education,” the Governor said.

In his speech, Llaryora added: This summit is a meeting not only of circular economy, but of political innovation, in which we have to expand the concept of circular economy complemented by the knowledge economy.”

On the day, the provincial leader received a tribute for his valuable contribution to promoting the circular economy in Córdoba.

It should be noted that under the management of Martín Llaryora as mayor of the capital of Cordoba, multiple actions were carried out to promote the environment and the circular economy, while the holding of the first editions of this World Summit was promoted.

In this regard, the governor assured: “Each of us has the possibility and the obligation to do something to defend our planet. “We are the first generation that can take a brave, coherent and human attitude to defend the environment to take care of the world and the new generations”and added that “The circular economy is an invitation to discover new materials, new uses and new designs. Without a circular economy, investments will not come.”

In addition, the president ratified his commitment to the environment with the creation of the Ministry of Environment and Circular Economy “to help each of the mayors to defend the environment in Argentina, defending it from Córdoba, so that each of the municipalities can have what the city of Córdoba had in terms of circular economy”Llaryora said.

In turn, Mayor Daniel Passerini highlighted: «Córdoba has been a pioneer in the decision to become a reference city for the circular economy. This World Summit is one of the actions that demonstrate this.”

«We must work together to make the transition towards a circular economy throughout Argentina, throughout America and throughout the world»he added.
