The “6 de Agosto” Central Market adds new proposals that attract the residents of the city: artisan Wednesdays. Since March, this traditional space has been giving way to the exhibition of local talent, enriching the experience of those who visit it.
In this regard, Alba Ortiz, Administrator of the “6 de Agosto” Central Market, shared the essence of the proposal, “since March we have had the project called Comerciar and in this framework we have generated a space to enhance the market and also empower who join us in this space of Artisans and Entrepreneurs. It is the opportunity for all of them to have a space with greater visibility, to promote their creations, providing them with a completely free space where they can display their products and tell a little story of how they have been working, how they started their project, which ones they have been the ups and downs in a cultural space open to tourists as well as to all residents of the city.”
Ortiz extended the invitation to all those talents who have not yet taken part in this experience, “if any artisan has not yet registered or has not yet come to show their products in this market, they can contact the administration here in the market, at the schedule of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.Monday to Friday, or you can call 388420424and there we will be able to discuss what their product is, and what interests us most is that they are artisans and formal entrepreneurs, that they have a way to be able to invoice and that they also show the means of payment, especially electronic ones.”
Finally, he highlighted that neighbors are invited to enjoy this cultural event not only on Wednesdays, but daily, “we invite people to come to the Central Market every day, and on the days of the walk, we have on our social networks , both on Instagram and on Facebook, the invitation was made and also so that in the month of July they can come for three consecutive days in a completely free space, on the 15th, 16th and 17th so that they can enjoy or exhibit here in the market.
