On Thursday, June 13, detectives from the Angol Criminal Investigation Brigade arrested a 47-year-old woman of Chilean nationality as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of sexual abuse against five teenagers from the city of Angol.
According to what was indicated by Subprefect Héctor Aedo, head of Bicrim Angol, the investigative process began in 2020, where after a complaint made in Carabineros, an order was given to investigate Bicrim Angol detectives who, after procedures, specifically associated investigations Obtaining police statements from both the victim and witnesses made it possible to establish that the accused in those years was the guardian of a student who was part of a folkloric group, and with this she managed to approach different minors in a context of trust. abusing these, events that occurred during a trip to Ecuador with said group.
The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Guarantee Court of this city today – Friday, June 14 – in the morning, declaring her detention legal along with precautionary measures of restraint regarding the five victims.
