Gases del Caribe Foundation promotes recycling with ReciclArte, in Puebloviejo

The Gases del Caribe Foundation launched the call for its new environmental project, RecycleArt, in Puebloviejo, Magdalena. This innovative circular economy initiative aims to transform waste management in the community, promoting recycling and reuse of plastic materials.

With the participation of more than 100 families, Ciro Monsalvo, assistant manager of the Magdalena area, explained that ReciclArte focuses on the separation of waste at source and the collection of recyclable materials. In addition, it will focus on raising awareness in the community about the importance of recycling and its benefits for the environment.

The project will also facilitate the sale of recycled materials to organizations that transform them into useful products, such as plastic lumber, thus completing the reuse cycle.
