When he tried to flee aboard a motorcycle, this individual was deprived of his liberty and was caught with a stolen cell phone.
According to the official report, it was the Police quadrant assigned to the CAI Bogotá that received a warning call from the citizens in which they reported an incident of theft, so in their quick reaction they responded to the news, coming out in the search for the accused.
It was in the Industrial Zone of Neiva, where they found a 46-year-old man, with the same characteristics provided by the informant, this being the reason why they proceeded to intercept him, however, the subject, upon noticing the presence of the Police fled.
After a short chase he was reached meters later. “When carrying out the respective search, a cell phone that was allegedly stolen minutes before from a citizen in the sector was found in his possession,” said a spokesperson for the Neiva Metropolitan Police.
Thus, the person involved was left at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office, along with a black Boxer motorcycle, who will be in charge of defining his judicial situation.
