On June 12, First Sergeant Marcelo Fabián Rosso, a member of Mobile Detachment 4 based in the town of General Acha (La Pampa), saved the life of a municipal employee named Jonathan Romero. The young man had decompensated while working on sweeping public roads.

At the time the Non-Commissioned Officer was picking up his daughter from school, he was alerted about the situation. So he immediately went to the scene. The force personnel found the citizen lying on the floor with difficulty breathing, so they did not hesitate to perform CPR maneuvers on him. Intervention that lasted approximately 30 minutes.

Thanks to his actions, he managed to stabilize the man until the arrival of the ambulance, which took him to the local hospital, where he progressed favorably and was discharged a few hours later. The quick response and skills of the uniformed personnel demonstrate the permanent training in the Institution, as well as the courage, courage and commitment to the gendarme’s duty.

Later, the young man went to the First Sergeant’s home to thank him for saving his life, acknowledging that he was an “angel dressed in green.”
