“We are starting the third stage, which will officially take place on Thursday of next week, during this stage we are going to tour the entire province for a month. The first week will be in San Pedro, followed by San Vicente and Aristóbulo del Valle, then we will go down to Iguazú, Eldorado, Oberá, Jardín América and finally Posadas,” said coordinator Dardo Romero, in an interview with Channel 12.

Road to Germany
As he explained, during this stage they will look for boys from the 2008 and 2009 category who have a unique approach when it comes to playing. In addition, 100 young people will be chosen from the applicants who will travel to the Crucero del Norte club on August 12 for the final phase, which will consist of a tournament among the selected young people.

“In the last instance, the representatives of Germany will come, who choose 10 boys to travel to that country and represent Misiones and Argentina in the Bayern Youth Cup 2024,” he added.

Finally, Romero highlighted the great football progress that the province has made and stressed that there is great raw material. “The level of the missionary boys is very good, but what is missing is to work even more and train young people so that tomorrow they can be professional players, and that would be partly the objective of this program.”
