Since the end of April, the Enrique Berduc Rural School Park welcomed primary and secondary schools from across the province to provide them with a variety of educational and recreational activities.

The Enrique Berduc Rural School Park is a 600-hectare protected natural area that functions as the Coordination of the General Council of Education of Entre Ríos (CGE) and offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history, biodiversity and conservation of the regional environment. .

As part of the “Classrooms in Nature” project of the park’s Environmental Education Program, students have participated in visits to the museum, camps, recreational and educational activities, visits to the library and guided tours along the trails.

“Children and young people who visit the museum especially value the area called Allowed to Touch, since they have the opportunity to learn and explore directly. In addition, they greatly appreciate the bird watching activities, as well as the tours that offer knowledge about native plants and their medicinal applications,” remarked Griselda Urich, representative of the Enrique Berduc Rural School Park.

Educational activities cover a wide range of topics, from the history of the park and the ecoregion, to the invasion of exotic species. Students have the opportunity to interact with animal and plant fossils, explore biodiversity in the Andrés Guacurarí Park Library, plant trees, and participate in games and walks on the beach.

Students are also offered the opportunity to use binoculars, a new and exciting experience for many children and young people in the province.

“The agenda of visits to the park is full until the end of August. “We know the value of these educational experiences and encourage those interested in visiting the park to contact us via WhatsApp or email to reserve their spot,” said Urich.

“We are proud to offer educational and recreational experiences, which not only enrich the knowledge of students and teachers, but also promote the care and enjoyment of the natural and cultural resources of our land,” he concluded.
