The community that lives on the banks of the Leon Creek is asking for urgent attention from the control entities due to the situation they are facing in the trap that prevents the garbage from the stream from reaching the Ciénaga Mallorquín, since it is completely overflowing with garbage.

According to Leonardo Primo, a resident of this sector, they have not removed the garbage for three days and this is already causing damage in “Las Nubes, the banks of Arroyo León, this reminds us of what happened a year ago, when there was an overflow, crops were lost.”

Primo is requesting that the Atlantic Governorate or that the contracting company provides them with a prompt solution, since the water is not currently circulating through the trap.
