Attempted femicide in Alto Comedero
The victim, a 35-year-old woman, was at her home in the Tupac Amaru neighborhood of Alto Comedero when her ex-partner, with whom she has been separated for four years, broke into the house violently.
According to the complainant’s story, the man arrived upset with a machete to attack her. In an act of desperation, the 8-year-old son intervened to try to stop the attack, being hit with the knife in one of his arms and ending up injured.
The minor was taken to a health center, where he was treated by emergency services.. Fortunately, the cut did not turn out to be serious and he is out of danger.
Complaint and investigation
The minor’s mother, after ensuring that her son received the necessary medical attention, proceeded to make the corresponding report to the authorities. To date, the attacker has not been arrested.
