The first time is always special, the first time has no comparison. Atlético Bucaramanga was crowned champion of the BetPlay League for the first time in 75 years of history. The team led by Rafael Dudamel knew how to beat Independiente Santa Fe on penalties and managed to embroider the first star on its shield.

Santa Fe came back in the game (3-1), equalized the overall score (3-3) and forced penalties (5-6) where the good performance of Aldair Quintana (saving two penalties) and the poor finishing of Agustín Rodríguez and Julián Millán allowed the Santander team to win its first title in the country and join the other traditional clubs that are champions.

Let’s enjoy it because we deserve it.”
