He State Electoral and Citizen Participation Council (Ceepac) maintains the request for a budget increase of 9 million pesos before the Finance Secretary from the state government and hopes that there will be a positive response soon, since there are various areas that have to be covered.
Citizen advisor Marco Iván Cuéllar said that “we recently received a letter from the Ministry of Finance informing that these last nine million are still under analysis,” a situation that must be addressed and progressed as the necessary information is required.
“What we have been developing for several months now is that for each request for a budget increase, we have been justifying the concept, time, amount and need for these resources and that is precisely what is being done by the electoral body,” the counselor mentioned.

He added that “since Monday of last week we already entered into Work meetingsto be able to establish work scenarios based on this job that we receive.”
“These meetings have two results. First, a document that we are going to present to the Ministry of Finance to justify these resources, why we need them and when we need them. And second, how can we advance in our activities knowing that we still do not have this amount today, because at the end of the day we have to continue working.”
