A 90-day deadline was set to develop the investigation of the case in Coyhaique.

The Guarantee Court of Coyhaique left Germán Gerardo Triviño Ñancul subject to the precautionary measure of preventive detention, accused by the Public Ministry as the author of the completed crimes of kidnapping and micro-trafficking, an illegal act perpetrated on Monday of last week, in the city. .

At the formalization hearing, Judge Mario Devaud ordered the entry of Triviño Ñancul to the Coyhaique Penitentiary Compliance Center, considering that the freedom of the accused constitutes a danger to the security of society. In addition, he set the investigation period at 90 days.

According to the prosecuting entity, around three in the afternoon on July 3, 2024, the accused and two other unidentified individuals were traveling on public roads aboard a KIA brand truck, Sportage model.

Upon arriving at the Terrazas del Sol village in Coyhaique, the accused and one of his companions got out of the vehicle, carrying firearms, approached the victim and forced him to get into the truck under the threat that if he did not do so , “they were going to blow off his leg.”

Once in the back of the vehicle, in the middle of two of the captors, the victim was held and transported against her will through various streets of the city until she was abandoned near the Regional Museum of Coyhaique.

Finally, on Thursday, June 13, around 7:55 p.m., police personnel carried out the order to enter and search a home in Puerto Aysén, a property where they arrested Triviño Ñancul, who was in possession of two bags of marijuana, with a gross weight of 25 grams, a substance that was intended for illicit drug trafficking in small quantities.
