HAVANA.- Starting today and until June 19, the III International Congress “Science and Education” at the Havana Convention Palace, with the central theme Research and Innovate: Agenda 2030.
In this context, the V Global Meeting of Academic and Research Products in education will be held, with the participation of 15 countries and, as a novelty, the delivery of the 2024 World Children’s Prize.
An inaugural conference on the III Improvement of the National Education System: its realization in the government management system based on Science, Technology and Innovation will be held on this first day, by Dr. C. Silvia Navarro Quintero, director of the Institute Central of Pedagogical Sciences of Cuba.
In the academic framework, collateral events will be held to strengthen alliances between disciplines and theoretical actions such as the Forum of Good Practices in academic and scientific training, International Early Childhood Colloquium: from pregnancy to the future, International Workshop on good and successful practices in the management of scientific activity; the Open Science, Education and Research, Necessary Education and Education and Society: challenges and perspectives colloquiums.
Likewise, workshops and panels will take place on family and community in socio-educational inclusion, attention to talent in institutions, social transformation and its challenges from the sciences, adoption of emerging technologies in the contemporary educational context and one dedicated to role of women in science.
Topics such as health promotion, neurosciences and education, sexuality in inclusive schools with a gender and law approach, cultural decolonization and evaluation of the quality of education and topics associated with school sports and physical activity will also be discussed.
Once again Cuba opens its doors to professionals of knowledge and knowledge, sure that a better world is possible.
